The CD traces the Southern course of the war through its music...from the pre-war lightheartedness, to the first stirrings of idealistic patriotism, to the martial songs of confidence after repeated Confederate victories, to the first songs reflecting the reality of death, to laments for lost loves at home and leaving home, to the dread of battle, to the return of the soldiers, to the hymn for absolution, to the cry of persecution, and the final reminisces of comrades-in-arms years after the end.

Please contact us if you would be interested in purchasing this CD either via retail or wholesale so we can decide whether or not to make the significant investment needed to produce it in numbers.
