With more than 100 pages and 2000+ visitors per month this site remains
the largest, most visited War for Southern Independence reenactor web site.
Receipt of 117 Web Awards for content, contribution to the Internet community,
design, and ease of use also makes our site the most honored site about
the War for Southern Independence on the Internet.
We are a gathering of historians, professional and amateur, of many racial,
ethnic, and religious backgrounds who have committed ourselves to a mission
of historical research and documentation of the Forgotten Confederates.
Our site serves not only the 37th as a reenactment unit, but also serves
as the only focal point for research and documentation of Confederates of
all races, ethnic origins and religions.
Please note that we do not editorialize or comment on the carefully researched
and referenced documentation we offer for your consideration. This reflects
our belief that history speaks best for itself when the reader is left to
reach a personal conclusion after careful reflection. We respect your right
and ability to consider what we offer.
Members of the 37th are hard core reenctors, educators at the secondary
and college levels, professional historians and authors. Our Trooper John
O'Donnell-Rosales has published his landmark book, "Hispanic
Confederates" recently and it is now selling out its second printing. |
